Varias veces y distintas fuentes me
postularme a convocatorias internacionales.
es lo máximo que diré de mí.
Gabriela
Farnell born in 1967 in Lanús, Buenos Aires, city
where she develops his work and continues to reside today. Due to its
geographical proximity to the City of Buenos Aires, most of her artistic
activity takes place in the Capital, the center of a large and constant
cultural movement of international projection.
Endowed
with a natural ability for drawing, from her childhood spent most of her time
to artistic play while receiving in parallel a traditional academic training of
lower-middle class Argentina, not focused on art. In her teens, without
specific artistic training but with an advanced technical development sustained
by practice, she began to frequent contests and art salons of the City of
Buenos Aires, where systematically reject but allow direct contact with other
artists and pointing out their mistakes and technical deficiencies. Always
under the system of trial and error,
typical of self-taught, she continues to work on her technique and composition.
From
1992 her work began to be accepted in various calls, and from there slowly and
gradually her work began to be exhibited both in the City of Buenos Aires and
the interior of Argentina, and then in various cities Exterior. Her work began
to be recognized and rewarded.
Since
2012 published online blog Espacio Farnelliano, a diary of
artist where real-time review the know-how of each of his works, both
compositionally and technically, with photographs of the progress of each, as
well as how she try to show her work, get the vicissitudes of exhibition spaces
and disseminate her work for an artist without gallery or representative and a
limited financial budget. Her blog is intended as a dynamic, concrete
curriculum, showing successes and failures, the everyday reality of who
dedicated her life to art however.
